Scope of the Role: Duties will vary within the Kingaroy workshop and on-site within the South Burnett to include a variety of: Mechanical fitting and plant maintenance. Component assembly and fabrication. Facility maintenance and modifications. Structural and general welding. Sheet metal work and steel cutting. Interpreting plans and conceptual drawings. Maintaining high workplace safety standards. The Successful Applicant: The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate: Fitter, Boilermaker, Fabricator or Welder experience. Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills. Strong welding and fabrication skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Experience in working independently to meet project deadlines. A reliable, team-oriented approach in the workplace. Availability for both workshop and client on-site work within the South Burnett. Strong commitment to a safe workplace. Current manual driver licence. Although not essential requirements, preference will be shown to applicants also able to offer any of the following: Trade Qualifications as a Fitter, Boilermaker, Fabricator or Welder. Other relevant trade certificates. A farming or rural background. A current forklift licence.
