We are partnering with a large and well-established purpose-led organisation seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a critical Payroll Remediation and Assurance Program. This is a business-critical appointment supporting an established Payroll Assurance function responsible for delivering complex payroll rectification and compliance outcomes across a large workforce environment. The successful candidate will bring strong experience leading payroll remediation, payroll assurance, wage compliance, or payroll transformation programs within complex and highly regulated organisations. You will work closely with Payroll, People & Culture, Finance, Industrial Relations, and external advisors to ensure compliant, auditable, and commercially sound delivery outcomes across multiple workstreams. Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate remaining payroll remediation and assurance project activities Drive project delivery against key milestones, timelines, risks, and dependencies Partner with Payroll, IR, Finance, HR, and external advisors across sensitive compliance matters Establish and maintain strong governance, reporting, and audit-ready documentation Support technical workstreams relating to payroll rectification and compliance obligations Provide proactive stakeholder management across operational and executive teams Ensure delivery outcomes align to regulatory, commercial, and organisational requirements About You You will be an experienced Project Manager with demonstrated success delivering payroll remediation or compliance-focused programs within complex environments. You will ideally bring experience across: Payroll remediation or payroll assurance projects Wage compliance or industrial relations programs Payroll transformation or payroll system implementation initiatives HRIS or workforce management programs Governance-heavy or highly regulated environments In addition, you will possess: Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills The ability to navigate sensitive and high-risk delivery environments Exceptional organisational and governance capability A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset with strong commercial awareness Formal project management qualifications or methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, PMBOK etc.) Why Apply?
