The role You will assist with: Testing and servicing medical gas equipment and devices Installing pipeline systems for oxygen and other medical gases Maintenance of medical gas pipeline systems and manifolds Equipment inspections and compliance testing Performing preventative maintenance and inspections Fault finding, troubleshooting and repairs Recording service and testing data Maintaining compliance and certification documentation The role is primarily based across metropolitan and outer metropolitan healthcare facilities, with occasional regional travel. Ideal candidates will have: Plumbing, mechanical, electrical or engineering experience Certificate IV in Plumbing, Engineering or related qualification obtained in Australia Ability to support compliance with manufacturer maintenance requirements and Australian Standards AS3551 and AS2896 Ensuring the safety, reliability, and operational integrity of medical equipment and medical gas pipeline systems Strong attention to detail Excellent communication and problem solving skills Basic computer skills A willingness to learn specialised medical gas systems What can you expect: Company vehicle supplied Travel allowance paid for regional work Ongoing training and licensing support Opportunity to move into a highly specialised industry Stable long term role with career growth Supportive team environment Medical gas experience is highly regarded but not essential for the right person.
