We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Workers to join our team on a casual basis within our residential aged care home. About the Role As a Personal Care Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Assisting residents with activities of daily living including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Supporting residents with meals, hydration, and emotional wellbeing Assisting with manual handling and safe transfer practices Observing and reporting changes in residents’ health and wellbeing to nursing staff Maintaining accurate documentation and care records Supporting residents in social and lifestyle activities Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe and effective care About You You are caring, reliable, and passionate about supporting elderly residents to live with dignity and respect. To be successful in this role you will have: Certificate III or IV in Individual Support Previous experience in aged care (highly regarded) Strong communication and teamwork skills Compassionate and resident-focused approach Ability to work flexible casual shifts Understanding of safe work practices and infection control Current Police Check (Essential) Working rights in Australia (Essential) Influenza vaccination (desirable) COVID-19 vaccination (desirable) Why Join MACG?
