Senior Project Engineer – NPI FIFO 2:1 | 12- month contract About the Role We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer – Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) to support the delivery of a major resources project. This role will see you leading the end-to-end delivery of NPI scope, from design through to construction and commissioning, working closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead delivery of NPI and camp infrastructure packages across project lifecycle Develop and manage scopes including: Bulk earthworks, buildings, and camp facilities Utilities (power, water, sewer, communications) Access roads, laydown areas, and supporting infrastructure Coordinate interfaces between contractors, suppliers, and internal teams Manage procurement activities including tenders, evaluations, and contracts Oversee site execution to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and safety standards Monitor progress, risks, and project milestones Resolve technical queries, design changes, and non-conformances Support design reviews and safety processes (HAZID, HAZOP, constructability) Ensure delivery meets safety, quality, environmental, schedule, and cost targets What You'll need to have Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) 8 years’ experience in mining, infrastructure, or heavy industry projects Strong experience delivering Non-Process Infrastructure (NPI) scope Background in: Civils and utilities Camp / village infrastructure Water systems and site services Proven ability managing: Contractors and suppliers Project interfaces across multiple disciplines Full project lifecycle (design to execution) What’s on Offer Opportunity to work on a large-scale, high-value project Long-term contract with potential extensions Perth-based initially with transition to site roster Collaborative and high-performing project environment About Airswift Airswift is an international workforce solutions provider within the energy, process and infrastructure industries.
