About the Role An exciting, immediate start role with an ASX-Listed organisation currently exists in order to fill a key Senior Finance Leadership role in their Finance team. Taking a hands-on approach; this Group Financial Reporting position will help assist in contributing to the success of the business by acting as the first point of contact for all finance matters and partnering with key stakeholders. Initially this will be a 6 month contractual assignment, however there is the genuine scope for this role to be extended / permanency. The Responsibilities Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to); Deliver accurate, reliable and timely financial information Preparation and analysis of the Group’s monthly consolidation Preparation of Group Reporting instructions to regions and review of deliverables Preparation of consolidated ASX half-yearly financial statements and liaising with the external auditors Preparation and / or review of other financial statements as required Preparation of accounting position papers and policies to ensure that the Group complies with accounting standards Assistance with ad-hoc projects as and when required Drive continuous improvement in systems, reporting, process and efficiency The successful applicant with have Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross-functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail, enjoy being hands-on and have strong technical accounting skills, with expertise in statutory reporting, governance, compliance and controls. Previous experience in Big 4 / Mid-Tier chartered audit will be considered advantageous.
