19th May, 2026 Electrical Designer (Mining Projects) Central Perth CBD Monday to Friday | Full-Time Hours Short-Term Contract Role (Approx. 4 – 6 Weeks) Pearl Recruitment currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Electrical Designer to support a major WA mining project on an initial short-term contract basis, expected to run for approximately 4 – 6 weeks. Our client specialises in delivering mineral processing, materials handling and infrastructure projects across Australia and internationally. About the Role: As the Electrical Designer, you will be responsible for: Supporting electrical design activities for a mining project from the Perth office for site implementation Developing and reviewing electrical drawings and schematics focused on crushing equipment and mineral processing plants Working closely with Electrical Engineers and Control Systems teams to integrate power and control system designs Ensuring designs comply with Australian standards and WA mining regulations Liaising with project teams, contractors and clients to ensure design feasibility and compliance Providing technical support and guidance to junior designers and drafters Assisting with concept designs, project documentation and specifications What do you need to succeed in this position? 10 years electrical design experience within Australia (WA mining consulting experience preferred) Strong understanding of mining and mineral processing projects Competent using AutoCAD 2D and 3D (desirable) Ability to work within a fast-paced consultancy environment with strong communication skills What’s on Offer?
