Job description: Reporting to the Superintendent Risk, Training and Contractor Management the HSEC Administrator provides critical administration and coordination support to the South Walker Creek HSEC Department. This role plays an integral part in ensuring site compliance with the Queensland Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulation, through maintaining accurate records, supporting training compliance processes and assisting with HSEC systems and documentation. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well under pressure, and can confidently juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Key responsibilities include: Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HSEC team, including inbox and correspondence management Process SAP transactions, including purchase requisitions and HSEC-related procurement activities Maintain accurate training records, competencies, and associated documentation Maintain and update site training, skills, and compliance matrices Act as the primary point of contact for training-related enquiries Support onboarding processes for new starters, including compliance and training requirements Assist with document control processes, including maintaining registers and controlled documents Support HSEC reporting, documentation, and SharePoint updates Liaise effectively with site personnel to support HSEC functions and initiatives Contribute to a safe work environment by actively participating in safety systems, practices, and behaviours Qualifications: Certificate III in Business Administration (highly desirable) Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite Understanding of SharePoint systems Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (desirable) Experience with SAP purchasing processes (desirable) Experience and Technical Competencies: Previous experience in mining or a similar heavy industry environment Highly developed organisational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a busy work environment Proactive, adaptable and detail-orientated approach Ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders across site.
