About the role Working alongside our experienced Trades team, you'll be the engine behind our candidate pipeline — sourcing, screening and placing skilled tradespeople into labour hire and permanent roles. Reporting to our Senior Recruitment Manager -Trades Division you will support with day-to-day resourcing activity while developing your own skills in business development and client management. What you'll be doing • Sourcing and screening trades candidates across job boards, database, referrals and proactive headhunting • Conducting phone screens and face-to-face interviews; verifying licences, tickets and WHS requirements • Maintaining a ready pipeline of job-ready candidates across electrical, mechanical, civil, fabrication and maintenance trades • Supporting the team with candidate floats, placements and on-hire coordination • Building strong candidate relationships through regular contact and post-placement check-ins • Keeping our database accurate, up-to-date and compliant at all times • Assisting with resourcing for new national accounts as we grow our client base • Supporting business development activity and learning the full end-to-end recruitment lifecycle What we're looking for • A people person — confident on the phone and energised by building relationships • Organised, resilient and target-driven — you thrive in a fast-paced environment • Experience in recruitment, customer service, sales or a trades/construction environment (any combination welcome) • Strong attention to detail — compliance and accuracy matter in trades workforce solutions • Genuinely motivated to grow — we invest in people who want a career, not just a job • Knowledge of trades or technical industries is a bonus — but not essential If this sounds like the opportunity for you, please apply via Seek or contact Lynn Jeremy - redappointments.com.au
