Workfast is seeking reliable Machine Operators to join a Steel manufacturing and distribution facility operating factory based machinery in the Rockhampton & McKay areas Pay Rate: $34.00 - $36.50 per hour OT Super Shift: Day Shift – 6:00am to 2:30pm / Night Shift - 10:30pm to 6:45am Location: Rockhampton And McKay Candidates must have prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment and be eager to learn specialised rotary moulding operations. Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong safety focus are essential for success in this role. What you get $34.00 - $36.50 per hour OT super (depending on tickets) Immediate start Full training provided on rotary moulding machinery Work with a well-established and growing Australian manufacturer Monday to Friday Full-time hours Temp to perm opportunity after 3 months What you need Experience in a factory, production, or machine operating role Willingness to learn rotary moulding machine operation Forklift licence beneficial but not essential (This will determine a higher rate) Working alongside trades such as Boilermakers would be a bonus Strong attention to detail and quality control Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet all day Reliable and looking for long-term work Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol screen Own transport or ability to reliably get to site What you will be doing Operating and monitoring rotary moulding machines (training provided) Loading raw materials and unloading finished products Monitoring production quality and machine performance Performing basic machine checks and reporting faults Manual handling and lifting as required Assisting with dispatch and general production duties Following all safety, quality, and operational procedures Completing tasks as directed by the foreman, site manager, or team leader.
