Seaspray Homes are a successful family run custom builder established in Blairgowrie in 1953. We have an opportunity for an experienced office person to join our team. Key responsibility will be the smooth running of the main reception desk (onsite), including all the purchasing, payables and accounts in our dynamic fast-paced office where professionalism, initiative and over all office skills will be welcomed. This is a full time role onsite Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm of 38 hours per week. Candidates looking for part-time hours (minimum 20 hours per week) may also be considered for job sharing opportunity. No evening / weekend work required. You will be working end to end purchasing, accounts payable and payments in coordination with the estimating and construction team to maintain continuity throughout the whole build process, which would include the following:: -Process, manage and report on accounts payable and purchasing across multiple businesses. {40% of time} -Responsible for the detailed data entry, reconciling, signing off and final payment of weekly and EOM payment runs. Bank and credit card reconciliations over a number of accounts and companies {20% of time} -Experienced in covering admin functions, including but not limited to processing pays, superannuation, site minutes, assisting with estimating processes, and systems across the businesses. Being detail-oriented and committed to efficiency involves thoughtfully planning, prioritising, and executing tasks, particularly when handling adhoc office responsibilities. {20% of time} -Handle customer enquiries and complaints, process customer requests, and keep updated customer records for Seaspray Homes and Moody's Motel {20% of time} This is an autonomous role, applicants are to be comfortable being independent while working as a team, self-directed, efficient and have organisational and problem-solving skills. Applicants must have: Excellent oral and written communication skills Office administration experience required (minimum 2 years) Bookkeeping and Payroll experience an advantage A positive and approachable disposition Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Experience in Builder trend and Xero an advantage Experience in the Building / construction industry an advantage. Experience in the Motel / hospitality industry an advantage.
