Currently there is an opportunity at our Fyshwick, ACT office for a proactive Warehouse Assistant to join the Idealair Group team. The successful candidate will join a highly motivated team and contribute to the ongoing success of the branch. This role will assist with incoming and outgoing goods, particularly unloading/loading, picking and packing of goods to be supplied to Idealair Group customers as well as Idealair Group branches along with document processing on the Microsoft Business Central System. The Role: Picking & packing goods to the Idealair Group delivery scheduling system Ensure orders are supplied on the nominated date and to the correct address, while communicating with the Senior Warehouse staff (or customer when directed) should lead times not be achievable Ensure that all deliveries from Idealair (including locally sourced goods) are received and despatched in good order and are adequately packaged so that equipment will be received in the same condition as when despatched. While carrying out regular duties, ensure that the store is kept in a clean and tidy manner Loading Unloading containers as & when required (hand & forklift unload) Notifying Warehouse Supervisor of any extraordinary stock discrepancy or deficiency noticed during the normal workday Receipting of goods, ensuring correct items have been sent and receipted into the system Co-ordinate Inter-Branch transfers General admin tasks General Warehousing work Using the forklift for everyday tasks such as loading and offloading freight, moving stock within the warehouse etc To be successful in this role you will have: Previous experience in the warehousing related roles Excellent communication skills both written and verbal High degree of attention to detail Strong ability to work autonomously and part of a team Strong motivation and drive to work in a fast-paced environment A current Forklift Licence is essential Sound knowledge of Windows based computer systems, i.e. Microsoft Office products Why Join Us: Genuine professional development and career progression opportunities for the right candidate Fantastic work-life balance Excellent and supportive company culture Fantech Group is an equal opportunity employer who is committed to providing safe, inclusive, and respectful workplace.
