This fixed term position will be based at Plane Creek Mill in Sarina which offers a laid-back lifestyle, with stunning beaches and exciting outdoor adventures right at your doorstep. This position operates on a continuous rotating shift roster, which may include weekends and occasional overtime. Your Role in Action Keep Our Assets Running: Participate in preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, and assisting with fault reporting and repairs to ensure optimal factory operations. Work Hand-in-Hand with Operations: Collaborate with Operators to maintain the safe and efficient operation of the factory, assisting in identifying issues early and ensuring timely, effective responses. Collaborate for Success: Liaise with the Operations Coordinator and Work Coordinator on costs, scheduling expenditures, and assisting in assessing the economic life and performance of assets to drive continuous improvement Document with Precision: Ensure all work orders and permits are accurately completed while maintaining timesheets and standard reports for seamless operations. Uphold Quality and Teamwork : Work within a collaborative environment, conducting inspections, identifying problems, and implementing improvements to ensure the highest quality standards. Your Winning Combination Our ideal candidate will hold a Certificate III in Engineering - (Mechanical Fitting), along with a current Confined Space certificate, a valid Safe Working at Heights certificate, and a manual driver's license. If you have a High Risk Work License in dogging and rigging that's a plus! But don't sweat it if you don't—we're here to help you learn and grow in your role!
