Now we are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Accountant, a full-time role but also part-time is available for the right candidate, reporting to the Head of Finance, based at our Mt Barker Office. This role is responsible for leading and managing the end-to-end accounting function, including team oversight, financial reporting, and monitoring of operational performance. Deliver accurate and timely financial insights through month-end processes, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance activities. Partner with internal stakeholders to provide finance and administration support, driving efficiency, continuous improvement, and informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities include (but not limited to): · Lead and manage the Administration team to ensure efficient and accurate office operations across the SA function · Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting, ensuring integrity of all financial data and outputs · Oversee end-to-end finance operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Asset Management · Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls · Manage the preparation of month-end and year-end processes, including journals, accruals, and reporting packs · Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, including variance analysis and insights · Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements including BAS, payroll tax, FBT, and superannuation · Monitor and strengthen internal controls, audit processes, and risk management practices · Provide leadership, guidance, and performance management to finance and administration team members · Act as a key liaison with internal stakeholders and external parties (auditors, regulators, vendors) to resolve financial matters effectively Essential Experience & Qualifications · Have the right to work in Australia · Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline · Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar Senior Accountant or Finance role, preferably within a service-based or operational environment · Demonstrated experience using ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills · Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance · Experience overseeing end-to-end finance functions including AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations and reporting Desirable · Have good initiative and supervising or team leading experiences · Experience with analysis, new project implementation and costing modelling · Professional membership or working towards CPA, CA, or equivalents · Experience within public transport or government-contracted service environments · Exposure to sustainability, environmental or emissions reporting frameworks What We Offer · Competitive remuneration package · Collaborative and values-driven culture · Diverse metropolitan and regional operational environment · Career development and long-term growth opportunities within the Keolis Group · Opportunity to shape the future of sustainable public transport in SA Apply Now Confidential telephone enquiries are welcome to call on 0420 842 .
