We are seeking an experienced early childhood leader to join our growing 86-place Singleton centre as 2IC/Educational Leader. Opened just over a year ago, this well-established service has quickly embedded itself in the local community and continues to experience steady growth. Ideally located within Singleton Village Shopping Centre, the centre is well positioned for ongoing success. This opportunity suits a confident leader with prior experience in a similar role, who is skilled in mentoring educators, leading curriculum and programming, and driving strong pedagogical practice. About the Role This leadership role is ideal for someone with previous experience in a similar setting who is passionate about making a real impact, both in the classroom and across the service. You’ll work with our Centre Director to support daily operations, lead curriculum and programming, and mentor a dedicated team of educators to deliver high-quality, meaningful learning experiences. Key responsibilities include: Supporting day-to-day centre operations and stepping in as Responsible Person or covering ratio's when needed Leading curriculum direction and inspiring reflective practice across all rooms Coaching, mentoring and supporting educators in planning and program delivery Collaborating on compliance, quality improvement, and family engagement What We Offer A vibrant service opened just a year, featuring new resources and carefully curated indoor and outdoor learning environments Hands-on, incredibly supportive Operational Team Open to applicants available across a 9-day fortnight Negotiable hourly rates based on experience and qualifications Convenient location: Based at Singleton Village shopping centre and a short drive to Lakelands shopping centre Weekly incursions and enriching activities for children Staff discounts for your own children Paid professional development and career growth opportunities On-site daily cleaner for a hygienic environment What We’re Looking For We’re after someone who brings energy, leadership, and a deep passion for early childhood education. This role leans heavily into Educational Leadership, so experience in this area is a must. You'll need to have a strong grasp on curriculum, programming, planning, and everything that makes a great Educational Leader.
