Reporting directly to our Head Chef, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to); Management of daily food preparation In the absence of the Head Chef you will assume the responsibility of managing all aspects of kitchen operations. Production and implementation of menus which are designed to deliver innovative food which meet market needs and fall within budgeted guidelines Working in conjunction with service teams to ensure quality product and service to all members and guests Maintaining Health and Safety standards in the kitchen Experience with ordering and specials menu writing an advantage, but not essential. You must have proven experience in a la carte and functions. We have an a la carte restaurant that seats 50 and two function rooms catering for up to 200 people. You must be able to work in a team environment and work well unsupervised. You must have the availability and flexibility to work a range of hours including morning, afternoon, evening shifts and weekends. The successful applicant will have a proven history of preparing food to a high degree of skill.
