About Animal Health Australia Animal Health Australia (AHA) is the trusted and independent national animal health body in Australia, bringing together government and industry to deliver animal health and biosecurity projects and outcomes. We work with our members to identify threats and opportunities, drive collaborative solutions, and advocate for the long-term success of Australia’s livestock industries and biosecurity system. Our members include the Australian Government, State and Territory Governments, Livestock Industry Organisations, and Associate Members. About the Role As Administration Coordinator, you’ll report to the General Manager Corporate and play a key role in supporting the effectiveness and efficiency of AHA. This varied position will see you supporting corporate operations across administration, governance, reporting and office coordination, including: Reception and office administration Governance and reporting support activities Coordinating facility management and ICT support Document preparation, formatting and quality assurance Supporting internal reporting and data tracking. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality administrative support and customer service to both internal and external clients Answer phone and email enquiries, welcome visitors, and manage correspondence and mail Monitor, order, and manage office supplies and services Support meeting, event, and conference preparation including organising catering Prepare, format, proofread and maintain high-quality organisational documents, reports and templates Maintain reporting spreadsheets, track data and support preparation of internal and external reports Support governance processes, including preparation of meeting papers and management of board and committee documentation Develop and maintain organisational policies, procedures, and record-keeping systems Coordinate facility maintenance and ICT issues Assist the Finance Team with data entry Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including system access, equipment allocation and return, and liaison with internal teams and service providers Provide administrative support to governance, compliance and WHS-related committees and frameworks Promote effective workflows and communication across teams Ensure a safe and healthy work environment Actively participate in organisational initiatives and emergency animal disease response activities as required What We’re Looking For Demonstrated experience in an administrative role, ideally in a corporate environment Strong organisational and time management abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams, and CRM systems Strong attention to detail, with ability to support document quality, reporting accuracy and data management Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively with attention to detail Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team Desirable: Certificate III in Business Experience working in a national member-based organisation Why Work With Us?
