With a strong food trade, family-friendly offering and year-round tourism traffic, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to take ownership of a fast-paced kitchen within a well-established venue. As Head Chef, you'll lead the BOH team across daily operations, menu execution, team development and financial performance while working closely with venue leadership to continue driving quality and consistency. What you'll be doing: Leading and motivating a large kitchen team in a high-volume environment Managing stock, ordering, rostering and labour controls Maintaining strong food quality, presentation and service standards Driving kitchen culture, training and team development Working with senior operations teams on menu direction and business performance Ensuring compliance with food safety and workplace standards What we're looking for: Previous experience as a Head Chef within a high-volume pub, bistro or hospitality venue Strong leadership and communication skills Experience managing food and labour costs Ability to thrive in a fast-paced service environment Passion for quality pub food and team development Organised, hands-on and commercially minded approach Why join Australian Venue Co?
