Based in modern offices in the heart of Surfers Paradise, we’re a small, ambitious team with exciting growth plans. We're now looking for a hands-on Senior Accountant who wants to make an impact, take responsibility, and grow with the business. What You'll Do Reporting to the Head of Finance, you’ll be supporting the day-to-day finance function, including: Day-to-day responsibility for the accounting and financial operations of the property business. Supporting general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end processes Overseeing AP/AR transactions and helping to manage cash flow Preparing monthly and annual reporting including forecasting Supporting property business by building and maintaining cost models Assisting with BAS, PAYG, tax, and regulatory filings Managing Company Secretary activities for the Group Implementing system upgrades and process improvements Documenting Finance procedures and controls Supporting engagement with external Auditors Other ad-hoc duties as and when required What You’ll Bring Accounting qualification (CA/CPA preferred) or relevant degree with strong experience. Solid knowledge of financial operations and reporting Sharp attention to detail and problem-solving mindset Strong Excel skills Comfortable optimising and leveraging financial systems A proactive attitude – you’ll enjoy working both independently and as part of a team Bonus Points For Experience working with Oracle Netsuite or equivalent accounting packages.
