We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our head office team in a senior, hands‑on HR generalist role. This position is ideal for a practical HR professional who enjoys being close to operations while acting as a trusted business partner to leaders across the organisation. About the Role You will deliver end‑to‑end HR support across the employee lifecycle. You will play a key role in building a positive, compliant and high‑performing workplace, providing expert advice on employee relations, workplace legislation, WHS and return‑to‑work matters. This is a standalone HR leadership role with strong influence across the business. Key Responsibilities Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding , from role definition through to induction Provide expert HR and employee relations advice to managers and directors Support and guide performance management , including feedback, PIPs and development discussions Interpret and apply Australian employment legislation , including NES, Awards and industrial instruments Lead or support workplace investigations , grievances and misconduct matters Conduct exit interviews and identify trends to support retention initiatives Coordinate Return to Work claims, including suitable duties programs Liaise with insurers, medical practitioners, managers and employees to support safe and timely return to work Lead wage reviews, role classifications and pay equity considerations Contribute to a safe and compliant workplace , supporting WHS obligations and due diligence About You You are a confident and capable HR generalist who enjoys autonomy, problem‑solving and building strong relationships across all levels of a business. Essential experience and skills include: Minimum of 5 years' experience in HR Generalist or HR Manager position Strong knowledge of Fair Work legislation, NES, Modern Awards and workplace relations Demonstrated experience managing recruitment and employee relations matters Experience conducting workplace investigations and performance management processes Sound understanding of Work Health and Safety requirements Experience as a Return to Work Coordinator (or willingness to undertake training) Excellent communication skills with high levels of integrity and discretion Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline (highly regarded) Current knowledge of workers compensation and rehabilitation processes (highly regarded) What We Offer A senior, influential HR role with exposure to executive decision‑making The opportunity to shape people processes and HR systems A stable head‑office based position with autonomy and variety Driver's licence required.
