Due to continued growth, we are seeking Fire Alarm Technician to join our Dry Fire division. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a hands-on technical role within our Dry Fire Department, where you will be a key player responsible for: Fault finding on various fire systems, networks, and access control systems. Installation and programming of fire panels from various manufacturers (e.g: AMPAC, Notifier and Vigilant) Installation and programming of various site monitoring systems (eg, Graphics, SCADA) Minor works and rectification projects on dry fire systems. Troubleshooting and fault finding across a range of dry fire systems. Working closely with clients, contractors and team members to ensure compliance and quality service delivery. ABOUT YOU We are seeking a motivated and reliable fire technician who thrives in a team environment and is looking to take the next step in their career. Ideally, you will bring: A strong understanding of Australian Standards (AS1670, AS1851) and fire industry practices; Experience with electrical/dry fire systems (minimum 2 years preferred); Excellent problem-solving, time management and leadership skills. A positive work ethic and commitment to safety. Ability to work autonomously or collaboratively as needed including the after hours roster. A professional and personable approach to dealing with clients and contractors. High attention to detail and a commitment to safety and compliance. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Open cabling license or suitably qualified fire technician with relevant endorsements (Cert II, Cert III and/or EAHL). A Grade electrical Licence preferred but not mandatory. Current Australian Driver's Licence.
