This is an excellent opportunity to be part of South Australia’s growing defence work in the heart of Woodville South within our composite manufacturing facility About the Role Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be a detail oriented professional and a dedicated QA/QC Inspector, who believes that quality and compliance isn’t just a metric but a requirement for project success Key Responsibilities o Be the gatekeeper of quality, ensuring every component meets stringent Australian Defence standards o Inspection of components and finished products through physical inspections o Maintain accurate records and non-conformance reports (NCRs) o Identify recurring quality issues and collaborate with the engineering team to implement corrective actions o Coordinate with external vendors to ensure incoming materials meet specifications About You o We aren't just looking for someone to tick boxes, we need a proactive problem solver with a hands-on, can-do approach that is solution based o You will have a proven background in QA/QC within a manufacturing or engineering environment (Defence, Aerospace, or Automotive preferred) o Can interpret technical drawings and specifications clearly o An understanding of the traceability and accountability required in a secure manufacturing facility o Have an understanding of ISO standards o Cert IV or Diploma in Quality Auditing or a related engineering discipline or Composite Manufacturing is highly regarded Due to the nature of our work, candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance What We Offer Opportunity to work with a reputable and growing Defence Facility Supportive team environment Career development and training opportunities Exposure to a diverse range of defence work How to Apply If you are a motivated QC/QA professional looking to advance your career within the defence industry, we encourage you to apply.
