About the role This Adelaide‑based permanent opportunity offers an accomplished Procurement Specialist the chance to take ownership of direct spend categories and make a tangible contribution to the business. You’ll play an important role in improving cost efficiency, maintaining supply continuity and delivering strong strategic outcomes. In this role, you will manage the development and execution of category strategies across Vinarchy’s direct procurement portfolio . You’ll work closely with suppliers, support sourcing activities and drive cost optimisation, aligning immediate operational requirements with longer‑term business objectives. Reporting to the Procurement Manager ANZ , you’ll partner closely with Production, Operations, Quality, Finance and Supply Chain teams. Through effective collaboration with key stakeholders, you’ll contribute to sustainable outcomes while maintaining high standards across quality, performance and compliance. This role also offers flexibility with two days working from home . What You'll Do Drive category strategies backed by market insight and long‑term sourcing plans Lead RFPs, supplier assessments, negotiations and contract execution Build and elevate supplier partnerships that fuel innovation, sustainability and performance Support NPD and EPD with early supplier engagement and cost modelling Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality and Finance to align production, budgets and governance Analyse spend, forecast demand and proactively manage risk Deliver cost improvements through smarter packaging and commercial initiatives What You'll Bring 5 years in procurement, category management or packaging; FMCG or beverage experience highly regarded Proven ability to manage suppliers, negotiate effectively and lead RFX processes Advanced Excel capability and confidence with ERP/procurement systems Strong communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills A collaborative mindset with the ability to work seamlessly across regions and teams Willingness to travel as required and meet work‑rights and pre‑employment requirements Why join us Vinarchy is a home for passionate people to do their very best work.
