About the Role In this newly created position, you will manage the day to day operations of the International Course Advisors & be hands on, as a senior representative, driving direct international student recruitment, with a particular focus on the offshore market. As the Team Leader, you will work closely with the General Manager of Future Students and other key stakeholders on reporting and analysis, continuous improvement of systems & processes and practices to support student recruitment outcomes. Key Responsibilities International Student Recruitment Own and deliver individual direct onshore international student recruitment targets for EDU and its subsidiaries Work collaboratively with the broader team to achieve group recruitment targets Provide accurate course, enrolment, and policy advice to prospective students nationally via inbound and outbound phone and web-based enquiries Manage the student pipeline and nurture leads through to enrolment conversion Support the delivery of course information sessions with academic staff and other relevant stakeholders Liaise with internal stakeholders as required to support prospective student enquiries and outcomes Provide feedback and insights regarding emerging market, competitor and customer trends Participate in key recruitment activities and events, including open days and career expos (some out-of-hours work may be required) Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM (HubSpot) and ensure all follow-up activities are actioned in a timely manner Champion continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the ongoing development of a student-centric service culture focused on excellence Analytics and Reporting Develop and maintain dashboards to monitor activity, pipeline progression and outcomes (eg. conversion rates) across the student recruitment funnel Provide data, insights and performance analysis to Course Advisors to support continuous improvement in sales and conversion outcomes Prepare and deliver regular reporting to the management team, including performance analysis for each student intake cycle Systems Collaborate with the General Manager, Future Students to design, implement and optimise systems and tools that support the performance of the Future Students team, while providing ongoing transparency, operational efficiency and insightful reporting Team Management Lead the day-to-day management of the team including recruitment, goal-setting and performance management Provide mentoring and coaching support for team members to assist in their professional development Conduct annual performance reviews and set clear objectives for all reporting team members Ensure compliance with all People and Culture processes, supporting the engagement and retention of team members Education, Experience & Skills Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, post graduate preferred Minimum 4 years ’ experience in student recruitment within the Australian higher education sector Demonstrated experience leading small teams Knowledge of the Education Services for Overseas Students Act (2000) and its associated regulations, including National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018 Experience in developing and implementing marketing and sales plans, and in account management Proven ability to achieve recruitment targets in a results-driven environment. Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging internal and external partners at a senior level. Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 and PRISMS Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM systems Cross cultural awareness Excellent written and oral communication Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and in a team Positive attitude, results-focused, and strong attention to detail Positive attitude and ability to think creatively and bring innovation to EDU and its subsidiaries Why Join us?
