About the Role We are looking for a strategic and driven Pricing Manager to lead our Pricing team. Reporting to the Manager Pricing & Customer Analysis, you will be responsible for spearheading pricing strategies that improve market competitiveness while offering superior value to our retail customers. In this role, you will empower a high-performing team of analysts to transform complex market data into actionable commercial insights and predictive models. You will act as a trusted advisor across the business, identifying new growth opportunities while ensuring our pricing framework remains robust, compliant, and agile. This is a pivotal leadership position where your ability to refine our systems and mentor your team will directly shape our future profitability and the experience of our 1.5 million customers. In this role, you will: Manage pricing strategies related to customer profitability, segmentation, and predictive modeling. Lead, motivate, and coach a team of Analysts to achieve growth targets and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Provide high-level market analytics to support strategic pricing decisions and contribute to budgeting and forecasting assumptions. Identify opportunities to streamline pricing processes and cultivate innovative prospects for new business development. Maintain a clear understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements and ensure all pricing timetables are met. Proactively collaborate with internal customers to identify opportunities backed by analytical evidence. What we’re looking for: Significant experience in business modeling or pricing, ideally within the energy or utilities sector. A relevant degree in Mathematics, Finance, Data Science, etc is desirable. A natural ability to influence others, solve complex problems, and adapt to changing business requirements. A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the quality of pricing research and market analysis.
