The successful candidate must be reliable, skilled, and ready to start immediately. ⸻ Requirements: Relevant culinary qualification Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cook Knowledge of Australian cuisine and ingredients Experience in stock handling and kitchen operations Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment ⸻ Key Responsibilities: Prepare and handle food in accordance with food safety standards Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and storage areas Minimise food wastage and utilise leftover ingredients effectively Assist with stock control and daily inventory Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment Prepare a variety of dishes including meat, seafood, poultry, and vegetables Ensure food presentation meets established standards Inform the Chef of any stock shortages in advance Order food supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations Finalise and present dishes before serving to customers.
