We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team on a casual basis . This role is primarily based between our three clinics . Role Overview As a Practice Nurse , you will work closely with our Practice Manager, GPs, and reception team to deliver a broad range of clinical services. You’ll be supported by a friendly, experienced team who are committed to delivering exceptional care to our local community. Key Responsibilities Provide treatment room procedures, including: Wound care and dressings Removal of sutures Iron infusions Conduct ECGs Perform health assessments Sterilise instruments and maintain infection control compliance Keep doctors’ and nurses’ rooms clean and well-stocked Maintain vaccine storage and handling in line with cold chain protocols Complete accurate clinical documentation Participate in audits, training, and quality improvement initiatives Essential Criteria Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Working with Children Check Experience in child and adult immunisations highly regarded Current CPR certificate Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Strong commitment to patient safety and best-practice care About You You will bring: A proactive, team-oriented approach Strong time management and organisational skills Reliability and enthusiasm to provide high quality nursing care A desire to provide high-quality support to doctors and patients alike Experience with Best Practice software (highly regarded) Willingness to engage in ongoing training and development Why Join Coastal Health Medical Centre?
