About the role Would you like to contribute to creating fresh high-quality food in a fast-paced production environment? The role report to the Innovation and Development Chef working Mondays to Fridays & some weekends, approximately 6 am to 6 pm (note the finish time may vary). What you'll do Follow the recipe/specification created by chefs Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat. Label and stock all ingredients on shelves so they can be organized and easily accessible Measure ingredients and seasonings to be used in cooking Undertake basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc. Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Comply with nutrition and sanitation guidelines Perform other kitchen duties as assigned We will provide you training to set you up for success. Qualification s Demonstrated experience in a Cook role or similar Team player with good communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced, food manufacturing environment Dedicated with strong work ethic & ‘can do’ attitude High attention to detail Ability to work under pressure with pace and energy & meet deadlines Exceptional personal presentation & hygiene Certificate III or IV – Commercial Cookery (desirable) ADDITIONAL NOTE: KFCo. operates a 4-week payroll cycle, i.e., 13 payments in a year
