Responsibilities We require a skilled, motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join an established company that is making waves Great team and environment The ideal candidate should show initiative and will be responsible for: Scheduling of Transport/Warehousing Leading daily operations, including driver allocations, order picking, packing, dispatching and container unpack/packs. Receiving orders and bookings, and planning and implementing transportation schedules Loading/Unloading of Trailers (when and as required) Providing efficient Customer service & follow up Monitoring compliance to statutory, legislative and licensing requirements including OH&S, Fatigue Management Maintaining a focus on continuous improvement in all areas of operations Facilitating inbound/outbound of local & interstate freight overlooking the overall South Australia Operations. Coordinate with the team and internal departments to meet delivery requirements and expectations. Complete regular run analyses and manage driver performance. Driving operational change that will continuously improve service levels to customers on delivery of freight Manage the daily operational needs of linehaul sub-contractor providers Ensuring goods are stored and transported in conditions that will maintain their quality and safe to do so. Maintaining business records and preparing operational statements and reports Coordinating activities associated with the arrival, departure, loading and unloading of Trucks. Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations along with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) Develop KPIs and daily strategies with team members and monitor individual performance. Managing both your time and your resources Your Schedule Working hours: 6am to 4.30pm (must be able to be flexible with hours) Location: Green Fields, SA Qualifications Microsoft office skills a must; experienced in Word, Excel Computer skills a must; Window applications and scanning Transport Industry required Forklift Licence / LF required
