Job Description About the team and the role The Senior Financial Analyst – Property sits within the Finance team at Sydney Airport and reports to the FP&A Manager, Commercial. This role plays a key part in supporting the Property business by providing high‑quality financial insight, partnering closely with senior stakeholders to inform decision‑making and drive commercial outcomes. During this 6-month max-term contract, you will have a meaningful impact by delivering end‑to‑end FP&A support across a diverse property portfolio. You will combine strong technical capability with commercial acumen to help shape forecasts, budgets and business cases, while contributing to initiatives that strengthen performance, transparency and continuous improvement. In this role, you will have the opportunity to… Partner with Property leaders to provide trusted FP&A support, including monthly management accounts, reporting and analysis. Prepare forecasts, budgets and long‑term financial outlooks as part of the Corporate Plan process. Deliver insightful analysis on financial performance, trends, KPIs and key business drivers. Support the development of business cases, approval papers, contract renewals and tender evaluations. Contribute to capital expenditure planning, risk and opportunity assessments and debtor tracking for the Property business. Collaborate on projects involving data analytics, dashboards, reporting enhancements and process improvements. Mentor Financial Analysts within the Commercial FP&A team, supporting capability uplift and knowledge sharing. About you Qualified with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline, and CA, CPA or equivalent certification. Experienced with 5 years in FP&A and month‑end reporting within a large corporate environment. Skilled in analysing complex financial data and translating it into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders. Confident partnering with stakeholders and influencing across different levels of the organisation. Adaptable with a mindset focused on continuous improvement and managing competing priorities. Capable of presenting complex information in a clear and concise way. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Power BI – desirable, with experience using ERP systems such as Oracle GL or similar.
