Job responsibilities Operate and manage milking systems and equipment. Detect and report any equipment faults or irregular performance. Collaborate effectively within a team environment. Read, monitor, and record data from instruments (e.g., milk vat temperatures, herd counts). Apply safe working practices and principles. Perform a variety of tasks to deliver quality results, such as operating farm machinery. Maintain equipment, including making adjustments and changing sizes when required. Address issues and make decisions in line with established guidelines. Possess knowledge of general scientific terms and support processes like machine repair, artificial insemination, and fertilizer mix preparation. Use standard measuring tools accurately. Operate computerized systems through menu-driven options. Fulfill a defined role within the team, contributing ideas and supporting colleagues. Work independently when necessary, without direct supervision. What we are looking for Hold relevant qualifications or demonstrate practical, hands-on experience in dairy or livestock farming. Organize and manage workloads effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
