The work is regionally based in Donnybrook & Pemberton, Western Australia. What to expect? Early starts Long days Varying weather conditions – rainy days, 30 degree days Physically demanding role Working outdoors in the elements Repetitive tasks Fast paced environment Applicants must meet the following criteria: Fit & healthy individual Positive “can do” attitude Willingness to get hands dirty Ability/willingness to work in a team Self motivated Job Description Outlined below are some of the tasks successful applicants can be expected to undertake, however please note this list is not intended to be exhaustive. Tasks include but are not limited to: Fruit vine pruning with air secateurs to remove old / unproductive wood Vine tying down Fruit tree harvesting & pruning with chainsaws and or hand loppers (depending on variety) Basic sprinkler and reticulation maintenance Tree nursery work (weeding, potting, sprinklers * dripper maintenance) Completing harvest estimates (fruit counts) Packing fruit Stacking boxes of fruit Labelling Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 a year
