If you have a passion for safe driving and customer service, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Communicate effectively with dispatchers to coordinate delivery schedules. Safely transport and deliver various goods and materials to designated locations. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations to ensure safety on the road. Position vehicles accurately for the efficient loading and unloading of materials. Utilize hoisting and tipping equipment to load and unload construction materials safely. Maintain accurate logbooks of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and address any mechanical issues. Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times and minimize delays. Ensure compliance with all truck driving rules and safety regulations. Report any defects, accidents, or violations promptly. Perform routine maintenance of the truck, including refueling and cleaning. Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Check loading documentation, assess the condition of materials, and confirm delivery certifications. Qualifications: Heavy Truck Driver Licence required Crane Licence required Relevant Australian Qualification and/or licencing order. Proven 1 year experience as truck driver.
