About the role Our client is seeking an experienced Lighting Sales Consultant to join their team in a full-time capacity. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely and on the road, with office attendance required once per week and as needed. Working within the commercial and industrial sectors, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and promoting tailored lighting solutions across a broad project portfolio. Key Responsibilities Identify potential quotes and leads and convert opportunities into sales Track quotations, specifications, negotiations, and potential orders Maintain and grow a portfolio of existing accounts and industry contacts Request, manage, and maintain lighting samples and product documentation Promote lighting solutions through client presentations, samples, and technical product information Achieve sales targets, budgets, and business development objectives Report on pipeline activity, project opportunities, and forecasting outcomes Build strong relationships with architects, engineers, builders, and industry stakeholders Skills and Experience Proven experience within lighting, electrical, building products Existing network of contacts including architects, engineers, builders, or contractors highly regarded Strong background in business development and account management Demonstrated ability working within a fast-paced sales environment Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Strong negotiation abilities with a customer-focused approach Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively Current driver's licence required Culture Join a supportive and collaborative team that values long-term relationships, innovation, and professional growth.
