Project Description: You will support a leading education-focused organisation undertaking a critical "Refactor & Secure" Salesforce initiative . The environment has evolved over 12 years and now requires simplification, security uplift, and modernisation to improve scalability and maintainability. The project focuses on remediating technical debt, securing Experience Cloud portals, modernising legacy Visualforce architecture into LWR portals , and replacing over-engineered customisation with scalable Salesforce-native solutions. Role: As a Lead Salesforce Consultant, you will: Lead the remediation and refactoring of legacy Apex and Visualforce components. Drive Experience Cloud modernisation, transitioning legacy portals to LWR architecture. Design and implement secure, scalable solutions using LWC, Apex, Flow, and Salesforce-native capabilities. Lead security uplift initiatives, including Guest User hardening and XSS remediation. Replace over-engineered customisations with maintainable Salesforce standard features. Manage integration security, transitioning legacy authentication to Named Credentials and secure API patterns. Maintain environment integrity across multiple sandboxes and DevOps pipelines. Provide technical leadership and architectural recommendations to reduce technical debt and improve system reliability. Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure scalable, secure outcomes. You will have: 10 years' Salesforce development experience across complex enterprise environments. Deep Experience Cloud expertise, particularly securing high-traffic public-facing portals. Strong hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, asynchronous Apex, and legacy Visualforce. Experience modernising Salesforce environments and reducing technical debt. Strong integration experience including Named Credentials, API security, and multi-environment management. Experience with advanced DevOps pipelines and release governance. Excellent stakeholder management and ability to work autonomously.
