We are looking for a Cremator Operator to join our team in Clackline - someone who takes pride in their work, values precision and is committed to delivering a high standard of service. About the Role As a Cremator Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring pets are cared for with dignity throughout the cremation process, while supporting our broader Cremation and Client Care teams. This is a hands-on role combining operational, technical and customer-focused responsibilities in a respectful and purpose-driven environment. Candidates who take pride in their work, values precision and is committed to delivering a high standard of service and located within a 40-50 km radius of Clackline are encouraged to apply . Key Responsibilities In this role, you will: Operate cremation equipment and manage pet cremations with care and precision Prepare and process ashes to a high-quality standard Maintain accurate records, tagging and documentation of all cremations Assist with receiving pets and organising within the crematorium facility Support collections and deliveries to vet clinics or client homes when required Provide compassionate, professional interactions with clients during viewings or enquiries Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and site presentation Work closely with Client Care, Prep and Field teams to deliver seamless service About You You'll be someone who is: Respectful, compassionate and comfortable working in an emotionally sensitive environment Hands-on, reliable and able to work in a physically demanding role Comfortable working around industrial equipment and high-temperature environments Experienced with tools, machinery or technical operations (advantageous) Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy Able to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure A strong team player who communicates clearly and respectfully ✅ Q Fever vaccination (or willingness to obtain) is required Why Join Us At InvoCare, we are proud to offer a supportive and purpose-led work environment where our people can do their best work while making a real difference.
