ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Claremont team on a either a Casual basis. Working for Apex Radiology, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients undergoing a range of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures. You'll be a part of a supportive and dynamic nursing team, reporting directly to the Nurse-in-Charge. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients before, during, and after imaging procedures. Prepare patients for CT, MRI, and Ultrasound examinations (including IV cannulation). Assist in interventional procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and angiography. Monitor and support patients during recovery post-procedure. Maintain accurate documentation and handle specimen collection. Collaborate closely with Radiologists and Imaging Technicians. Promote a safe working environment by adhering to WHS policies and procedures. Contribute to smooth patient flow and appointment scheduling. ABOUT YOU Current APHRA Registration as a Registered Nurse. Qualification in IV Cannulation (essential). Advanced Life Support certification (preferred). Previous experience in surgical or radiology nursing (advantageous). Strong clinical assessment and emergency response skills. Excellent communication, organisation, and time-management abilities. A collaborative mindset with the ability to work autonomously. High level of personal presentation and professionalism.
