About the Role This role will see you guide Foundation/Prep students through their first year of school, building strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and wellbeing. You will create a safe, nurturing classroom where curiosity is encouraged and every child feels a sense of belonging. Working within a collaborative team, you will plan engaging, evidence-informed learning experiences, use data to support student growth, and partner with families to ensure each child thrives. Key Selection Criteria Understanding and Commitment to Catholic Identity and Mission; Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or be eligible for registration); A current or be willing to obtain an Accreditation to teach Religious Education Certificate; Demonstrated high- level knowledge of Victorian Curriculum and the AITSL standards with best practice, evidence-based approaches to teaching and learning; Evidence of effective strategies for fostering a safe and positive classroom environment; Experience collaborating effectively with colleagues in planning, instruction, and assessment.
