About the role We are looking for a motivated Linesworker with a solid track record in electrical distribution service and maintenance. You'll use your diverse skills across all aspects of the role. As part of KRSP's field operations, reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you'll be key in supporting projects and asset maintenance on Horizon Power Networks throughout the Kimberley and providing essential service to remote Indigenous communities. Key responsibilities of the role: Undertake all inspection, maintenance and repairs to LV / HV (11kV & 22kV) distribution and related infrastructure Undertake planned and emergency maintenance as required Minor upgrades / construction of network infrastructure, constructed to design specifications and standards Undertake vegetation management Capacity to rectify faults promptly to maintain the integrity of the network and minimise disruption Identify and report preventative maintenance and perform rectifications Undertake testing of distribution systems Populate and manage as required physical and electronic records, logbooks, and reporting templates Demonstrate ability to work safely on distribution networks Maintain knowledge of current industry standards and regulations Location The role operates on a drive in/drive out roster basis from Broome to remote communities in the Kimberley. Local Kimberley residents are encouraged to apply, as are candidates interested in relocating to the Kimberley region. FIFO is available for those located outside of the Kimberley region on a 18:10 roster . Given the nature and location of our work, we need candidates who are flexible with roster cycles. What you will need An ability to demonstrate a high work ethic, integrity, and safe work practices together with a positive mindset. Essential criteria: Minimum 2 years’ experience in electrical distribution industry Cert III in ESI Distribution Overhead & Underground Capacity to work in remote location, inclusive of driving on remote unsealed roads Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a small team WP – Boom-type elevating work platform (high risk work license).
