With new mining areas coming online and a strong focus on disciplined maintenance execution, we are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner – Fixed Plant to play a critical role in improving plant reliability, shutdown performance and maintenance planning maturity. Onsite accommodation includes modern ensuite rooms and access to well-maintained recreational facilities including a gym and sporting courts. The Opportunity Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for the detailed planning, scheduling and coordination of all planned maintenance activities across the processing plant and associated surface infrastructure. You will operate as an integral member of the site leadership team, working in close partnership with Maintenance Supervisors, Production Supervisors and Supply to ensure work is fully prepared before execution. Your responsibilities will include: Detailed job planning, scoping and preparation of work packs Identifying labour, tooling, material and equipment requirements Development and continuous improvement of PMs and standard job plans Managing work order backlogs and progressing notifications to “Planned” status Shutdown planning (major and minor), including critical path analysis and resource levelling Coordinating purchase requisitions, stock reservations and material readiness Building and maintaining a structured job plan library for recurring work Setting agendas and facilitating weekly planning and shutdown meetings Delivering comprehensive written and verbal handovers This is a role for a planner who understands that quality preparation drives safe, efficient and cost-effective execution. You will be 100% dedicated to the planning function, ensuring all work is executable before it reaches the field. About You You will bring: Strong craft knowledge with the ability to accurately estimate labour and material requirements Proven experience in maintenance planning within fixed plant, mining or mineral processing In-depth understanding of maintenance work management systems and scheduling processes Experience using Pronto Maintenance (highly regarded) Demonstrated organisational and prioritisation skills Highly developed written and verbal communication skills The ability to build effective working relationships across operations, maintenance and supply You are structured, methodical and solutions-focused. You hold standards, communicate clearly and take ownership of planning quality.
