We are seeking qualified and experienced PAINTERS to join our dedicated and hardworking team. The ideal candidates must be reliable, results-driven, self-motivated, and committed to positively contribute to the team environment. The role includes but is not limited to: Read blueprints/instructions, examine, and understand surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary Make work preparation such as scaffolding, covering fixtures Responsible for mixing, matching, applying paint to various surfaces, and completing touch-ups Be able to understand and complete works to specifications Be able to mix correct ratio two-part paint coatings etc. Proper appropriation of consumables and materials to avoid wastage Select paints, varnishes and stains to various surfaces using brushes, sprays, and rollers Understand the use of Wet Film Thickness Gauges and be able to achieve specified dry film thickness Able to carry out minor repairs as and when deemed necessary Use different tools and brushes to apply paints with attention to details Be able to work at heights and in confined spaces Set up scaffolding/ladders, protecting surrounding areas, and cleaning up the work area Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas Support other team members to ensure completion of projects are on-time and in accordance to specification Follow safety regulations in handling hazardous materials appropriately To be considered for this role, you must have the following: Trade Certificate –Certificate III in Surface Preparation or equivalent (for Blaster/Painters) Experience with various painting techniques, tools, and materials High Risk Licence for EWP and/or Forklift Trade Qualifications in Protective Coatings (ACA, NACE, ICorr, or other trade certs) HR licence, high risk licence with EWP and Forklift Drivers Licence (MR or HR class) Understand colour mixing and application techniques Ability to work well both independently and in a team environment Ability to meet strict deadlines Strong communication skills Keen attention to detail Self-motivated, organised, punctual and reliable Must have great work ethics If you meet the above criteria and would like to be considered for this position, please apply now!
