Senior / Principal Environmental Consultant Perth, WA RPS has an opportunity within our Environmental Planning & Assessment team for an experienced Senior / Principal Environmental Consultant based in Perth . This role will contribute to our team of environmental scientists, botanists and GIS experts to deliver environmental impact assessment and approvals, with a strong focus on preparing environmental impact assessment documents in accordance with the requirements of State and Commonwealth legislation. We are seeking a highly experienced environmental professional with broad environmental approvals and compliance delivery experience. You will lead the delivery of approvals for land development, infrastructure, basic raw materials and renewables projects. You will have significant project experience and a comprehensive understanding of State and Commonwealth legislation, along with the ability to provide strategic advice to clients and contribute to business growth. This client-facing role will suit a person with strong communication and problem-solving skills, experience in full-stage delivery of EIA approvals, and established relationships with regulatory authorities such as EPA, DWER, DBCA, DMIRS and DEECCW. You will be working with like-minded professionals and recognised industry leaders, delivering strategic environmental assessments on some of the State’s most exciting and iconic projects.
