About the role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Coordinator to join the 4dads team in a permanent role based at our Mandurah – Davey Street office. In this position, you will provide day-to-day coordination and leadership within the program, supporting staff and contributing to the planning and delivery of groups, events, and community activities. The role involves providing professional support, guidance, and oversight to the team, working collaboratively with the Location Manager to identify and manage risks, and ensuring staff understand and apply relevant policies and procedures. You will also support the team in connecting participants with appropriate referral services and external agencies where required. Reporting is an important aspect of the role and includes preparing monthly program reports, as well as regular reporting to funding bodies. You will play a key role in identifying operational challenges and, alongside the team, developing and implementing practical solutions to support the smooth and effective delivery of the program. We are looking for someone who is committed to delivering services grounded in excellence, authenticity, compassion, and inclusivity. The current vacancy is 3 days per week on a Monday, Thursday and friday. Skills, experience, and qualifications Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences and/or Counselling Significant experience working with children, families, fathers, grandfathers, and male carers in parenting and family support settings. Demonstrated experience in staff supervision and programme coordination, including supporting staff wellbeing, managing vicarious trauma, and report writing. Strong understanding of relevant legislation, social policy, and organisational procedures relating to family services, workplace safety, and child protection. Knowledge and skills in trauma-informed practice, including supporting individuals experiencing crisis, domestic violence, abuse, control, and challenging behaviours. Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds, with an understanding of a broad range of mental health and family wellbeing issues. Why Join Us?
