About the role We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Medical Practice Assistant educators to join our team and shape the future of healthcare support professionals. In this rewarding role, you’ll have the opportunity to share your industry knowledge, ignite student passion, and help learners develop the skills and qualifications they need to thrive in the workforce. You’ll play a key role in supporting students’ career aspirations through engaging, hands-on learning experiences. This position involves on-site teaching at our Strathfield campus, as well as facilitating practical clinic sessions at our Nepean campus. We currently have a permanent part-time position available (14 hours per week), with a preference for availability on Wednesdays and Thursdays. About You You are a passionate and experienced healthcare professional who is enthusiastic about shaping the next generation of Medical Practice Assistants. With a strong foundation in industry practice, you bring both expertise and a genuine commitment to education. You thrive in collaborative environments, are driven to make a meaningful impact, and have a natural ability to mentor and inspire others. To be successful in the role you will: Hold appropriate subject knowledge, skills and vocational qualifications with a minimum level of Certificate IV Medical Practice Assisting or equivalent and a commitment to maintain technical currency. Be a Registered Nurse or Health practitioner (current and registered with AHPRA) Have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously. Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training.
