Your Role in Action Lead a generative safety culture: Continuously improve safety performance, prevent injuries and significant events. Lead teams to work safely and productively, integrate with Operations teams to support environmental and legislative compliance. Keep Systems Running Smoothly: Monitor key operational systems, including workflow management and frameworks, to support business operations effectively. Identify and Manage Risks: Proactively assess operational risks and implement strategies to minimise disruptions. Ensure Compliance: Oversee adherence to business codes, regulations, and industry standards Optimise Asset Performance: Contribute to long-term asset planning, ensuring efficient maintenance and replacement strategies that balance cost and revenue goals. Drive Productivity and Efficiency: Implement strategies to improve labour productivity and achieve asset management and financial objectives. Support Teams and Processes: Manage engineering processes ensuring compliance, supporting change initiatives, and fostering continuous improvement. Collaborate and Develop Talent: Work closely with key stakeholders to align goals, ensure the right expertise is in place, and support the growth and development of team members. Your Winning Combination As the Manager of Mechanical Engineering, you'll hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant Engineering discipline and/or Business discipline or possess equivalent practical experience. Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, Codes of Practice, and Engineering standards is essential. Additionally, you'll bring valuable experience in Maintenance Management and Reliability.
