Computer Network and Systems Engineer Security Eyes Pty Ltd – Woodridge, QLD Full-time AUD 85000 Security Eyes Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Computer Network and Systems Engineer to join our growing technical operations team in Woodbridge, QLD. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, maintaining and optimising enterprise network infrastructure and integrated systems for commercial and business clients. Duties and Responsibilities • Install, configure and maintain network infrastructure and system services • Monitor and optimise network performance, traffic and system availability • Analyse and troubleshoot network faults and technical issues • Configure routers, switches and related network equipment • Support system integration, upgrades and deployment projects • Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures • Provide technical support and assist with network security and operational reliability • Participate in testing, validation and implementation of network improvements • Assist with automation and operational efficiency initiatives Skills and Experience • At least 5 years of relevant network engineering or systems engineering experience • Experience with Cisco and Huawei networking equipment • Knowledge of VLAN, OSPF, BGP, STP and VRRP protocols • Experience using network monitoring and diagnostic tools, including Zabbix, Wireshark, Cacti and Syslog • Strong technical troubleshooting capability • Ability to support complex network and systems environments • Strong verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in IT, networking or related field • CCIE or equivalent vendor certification highly regarded • Multilingual candidates with English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese language skills are encouraged to apply, as the role involves communication with a diverse client and technical support environment This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced network professional to join an expanding Australian technology business.
