About the role The Program Manager, Dataspaces Australia is a national leadership role focusing on translating the Dataspaces paradigm into a practical, implementable national program directly supporting Australia's strategic digital ambitions, such as those outlined in Ambitious Australia. You will lead the development and delivery of sectoral Dataspaces programs, including Earth and Environmental portfolios, oversee multiple interdependent projects and coordinate contributions from geographically distributed teams and specialist expertise. You will: lead, design, and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the national-scale Australian Dataspaces program; lead the strategic direction and governance of the Australian Dataspaces program; identify and manage interactions between the Dataspaces program, Federation University priorities and ARDC programs of work across the Strategic Pillars; and build and maintain engagement with national and international Dataspaces communities. About you You will have demonstrated extensive experience co-designing and delivering national digital research infrastructure programs, supported by deep data and infrastructure expertise. In addition, you will possess high level planning and organisational skills, with experience in designing and leading the delivery of national large-scale, data-oriented programs with multiple stakeholders and projects. You will possess demonstrated: understanding of research and development processes, and the complexities involved in supporting research; specialist knowledge in an area of national digital research infrastructure, large-scale data systems or platforms, or a related discipline; high-level program and project management experience, with a proven record of leading institutional changes; and capability in leading strong and high performing multi-disciplinary teams, encouraging professionalism, innovation and continuous improvement.
