We are seeking passionate, committed, and values-driven Support Workers to join our Supported Independent Living (SIL) team. About the Role As a Support Worker in our SIL team, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support that enables participants to live meaningful, independent lives in a safe, respectful home environment. You will: Provide person-centred support aligned with individual care plans and participant goals Support participants with daily living activities, skill development, and building independence Actively promote independence by encouraging participants to build life skills and confidence every shift Create a safe, welcoming, and respectful home environment for all participants Follow care plans consistently, confidently, and competently to ensure high-quality support delivery Work collaboratively with leadership to solve problems, share ideas, and contribute to continuous improvement Build strong, respectful relationships with participants while maintaining professional boundaries and dignity of care Contribute to a positive team culture built on respect, reliability, and excellence Work flexibly across a 24/7 roster, including day, afternoon, evening, sleepover, weekday, and weekend shifts Travel between sites and adapt to different home environments as required What We’re Looking For We’re not looking for just anyone — we’re looking for a very specific kind of Support Worker. Essential: Experience working as a Support Worker or in a similar role Strong communication skills Ability to work independently or as a part of a team Current Australian Drivers licence and fully insured vehicle NDIS Worker screening clearance Current Police Check WWCC First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain) Desirable: Certificate 3 or higher in Disability, Individual Support or Community services will be highly regarded.
