Maintenance & Handyperson – Casual Weekdays | Port Douglas - Immediate Start We are looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance & Handyperson to join our friendly team at a small boutique hotel in Port Douglas. This casual weekday role suits someone practical, motivated and able to work independently to help keep the hotel, pool and gardens looking their best for our guests. Duties Include General repairs and maintenance Fixing room and public area issues Daily gardening and grounds work Basic pool cleaning Painting, drywall and minor handyman tasks Assisting with air conditioning, TVs and appliances Working with contractors when required Reporting maintenance issues to management About You Handy with tools, hardware and general repairs Experience with power tools is required Comfortable with outdoor work and garden equipment Reliable and hardworking Able to work independently Good attention to detail Positive attitude and team player Previous hotel, trade and/or maintenance experience required Minimum 1-2 years of maintenance or handyperson experience required Must have valid Australian work eligibility What We Offer Casual weekday hours Flexible roster Friendly team environment Tools and uniform provided Great Port Douglas location $35 per hour casual rate (incl. casual loading).
