ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking casual Critical Care Registered Nurses to work within our 6 bed High Dependency Unit (HDU) . This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a skilled and committed team of nursing staff and an established team of reputable Career Medical Officers. If you have the flexibility to work across Morning, Afternoon and Night Duty shifts – we’d love to hear from you. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care within the HDU environment Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration within the multidisciplinary team Monitor and respond appropriately to patients with acute and complex needs Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures Support a positive team culture and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Demonstrate commitment to safe practice, infection prevention and excellent patient outcomes. ABOUT YOU: The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills, experience and attributes: Registered Nurse Division 1 currently registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency Post Graduate Qualification in Critical Care or relevant ICU/ HDU experience Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to manage deteriorating patients Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills A strong focus on customer service and compassionate patient care Flexibility to work across different shift times – AM, PM and Night Duty.
